The second game of a series of realistic shooters in the first person, Insurgency: Sandstorm is focused on a squad of characters as they face chapters increasingly difficult, the invasion of Iraq 2003 during the insurgency period and leading to today. The game contains some new interesting features like a new story mode and multiplayer framework eSports.
Insurgency: Sandstorm is next tactical first-person shooter video game developed by New World Interactive and published by Focus Home Interactive for Microsoft Windows, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, OS X and Linux. It is the third installment in the series Insurgency.
The game is a remake of Insurgency, originally released for PC in 2014.
Sandstorm was officially announced February 23, 2016 by Focus Home Interactive.
